Dance

Discover Raqs Sharqi

This beautiful traditional dance is suitable for women of all ages, size, shape and ability. It is a wonderful way to exercise the whole body and make new friends. You do not need any special clothing to begin with, just a long full skirt or loose trousers and a shawl to tie around your hips. We dance barefoot but you can wear soft ballet slippers if you prefer.

Beginners’ classes are taught by Bridget Poulter in the Church Hall on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8.15 pm (term-time only). These classes are organised by The Letchworth Centre for Healthy Living.

Fusion Dance and Drama

Meeting in Wilbury Hall on Wednesdays in term-time 1.15 to 2.30 pm. An opportunity for parents to help their toddlers learn to play with one another, and also to meet others for a friendly chat.
